About CGWIB

I am a lifelong lover of contemporary poetry, classics, and language. I started this blog with the purpose of expressing the influence of classical literature on the contemporary literature that I love.  

In many ways, I created CGWIB to convince myself as well. As a lover of classics and poetry, I always felt a bit guilty that I never learned to appreciate classical poetry. In writing this blog, I hoped to change just that.
